Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the dress code?

Wear clothes LOL. Seriously, we do not have a dress code. The pastor often dresses in a t-shirt. You may want to come in a shirt and tie, or a hoodie and jeans, regardless, we do not make “how you dress” a thing.

2. What about kids ministry?

We value kids. During our gathering, kids stay in worship for the first part of the experience. Then, kids are taught in a groups appropriate for their age. Kids make friends, memorize scripture, learn Bible stories, and participate in fun activities reinforcing the word. Kids learn from the same passage as the adults. So when you get in the car, you can talk about the same topic.

We always have two adults in the room and each of those serving have a background check.

3. What kind of music do you sing?

We keep our church life simple. We believe worship is a life response to the gospel. When we gather to worship, we do a blend of music that best connects people to God in singing. We have a contemporary delivery style using hymns and fresh songs of today.

4. What is the preaching like?

We preach verse-by-verse through books of the Bible. The word is our priority. Our preaching is Christ-centered. We proclaim the gospel in each service. We expect the word to work in peoples’ lives. Bring a Bible. If you don’t have one, we will give you a Bible. Bring your Bible to church. Take notes. Eat the word.

5. Are there refreshments?

We want people to come and experience hospitality before and after the gathering. We do coffee, lemonade, and water, as well as snacks. Kids will get snacks in kids’ worship. Fellowship is a crucial part of the Christian journey. The linger time before and after our gatherings is some of the best time to just be real.

6. How long are the gatherings?

We like to value your time. We also value the time of our servants. We do let the Lord lead, but overall, an hour and fifteen minutes is our target.

7. What’s the bottom line?

The gospel is our bottom line. People are our bottom line. We desire people to know Jesus Christ. Our passion is to be a people who relate authentically. This is what Jesus did. He chose some of the most unlikely people to be a part of His circle. We believe “Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose on the third day” (1 Cor. 15:3-4).
